What does it take to get a dedicated independent traveler to join an organized group tour? I have avoided organized tours after a mediocre Chinese-speaking tour of the US East Coast that my parents put me and brothers through; that tour was obviously not a good fit for us English-speaking teenagers. While assisting our clients with their travel plans, I have been on the lookout for tours that would be a better fit for my own travel. Could I find a tour company whose philosophy and touring style would entice me reconsider my reluctance of joining a group tour?
G Adventures has introduced a new collection of tours dedicated to wellness and adventure, its first new product launch since 2015. The small-group tour operator becomes the largest adventure travel company to make personal wellness and balance a mainstay of adventure travel. The new Wellness product line, which made its commercial debut on the G Adventures website on Oct. 10, offers travel experiences in 10 destinations across the Americas, Europe and Asia. First departures will begin on Global Wellness Day (June 8, 2019).
In a time when the travel industry is booming, there are more and more travel products to choose from, whether it be a cruise, a river cruise, or a land-based vacation. There are equally as many credible and successful tour suppliers out there that have and continue to provide exceptional itineraries and hospitality services. Sometimes, it’s hard to choose which supplier to plan your travels with due to the sheer number and saturation of these services. It becomes hard, even for us, to recommend exactly which supplier to book our clients with without going into the minute details of a client’s travel preferences. A lot of our clients know exactly what they want - and more power to them! But what about our clients who yearn for new experiences, or suddenly want something more of their travels?
